We're building a bank the world actually needs – modern, sharp and genuinely human. We started in Estonia, growing through grit and high standards. Now we're taking on the UK and Europe. The next chapter is about doing the most ambitious work we've ever done, and changing how people experience money.
We run on three values: No Bullshit, Agile, and Never Satisfied. They're not wall art. They're how we make decisions, push each other and show up every day.
We're looking for a Senior ICAAP Specialist to join our Risk Management team and help shape how LHV manages capital and liquidity adequacy.
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of the bank's risk management framework, supporting one of its most important regulatory processes. Your work will help ensure the bank remains resilient under both normal and stressed conditions while providing meaningful insights that support management decision-making.
You'll work closely with teams across the bank, providing independent challenge, analysing complex risk topics and helping continuously improve our ICAAP and ILAAP processes.
You'll join a bank where decisions are made quickly, people take ownership and good ideas turn into action.
Supporting and coordinating the bank's ICAAP process and, where needed, the ILAAP process in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
Performing stress testing, sensitivity analysis and reverse stress testing while assessing their impact on capital, liquidity and funding.
Analysing capital and liquidity adequacy under both baseline and stress scenarios and helping develop meaningful management conclusions.
Independently reviewing assumptions, methodologies and results, providing constructive challenge and ensuring the quality of key risk assessments.
Preparing materials for senior management and governance committees, while supporting interactions with regulators when required.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of ICAAP and ILAAP methodologies, controls, documentation and governance.
Supporting the ICAAP/ILAAP Manager in planning and coordinating the process.
3–5 years of experience in risk management, ICAAP, ILAAP, stress testing, capital planning, Treasury/ALM or a related area.
A solid understanding of capital adequacy, liquidity, balance sheet management, RWA and banking risk management principles.
Experience analysing complex topics and independently assessing assumptions, methodologies and results.
The confidence to provide constructive challenge while building trusted relationships across the organisation.
Strong Excel skills and experience working with SQL. Experience with PowerPoint is also valuable.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience with ICAAP, ILAAP, recovery planning or risk appetite frameworks.
Experience working in a second line risk function.
Exposure to regulatory expectations, governance committees or supervisory engagement.
A professional qualification such as FRM, CFA, PRM, ACCA or another relevant certification.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, working across different areas of the bank and helping shape the future of risk management, we'd love to hear from you.
A real impact as you will shape how the bank manages its most material risk.
An opportunity to contribute to a bank that is scaling with clear ambition.
Opportunities for professional growth through internal and external training.
A modern culture that is collaborative, low-bureaucracy, and focused on outcomes.
A supportive and experienced team that values both impact and learning.
