WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
You'll drive the evolution of our data platform and play a key role in modernizing our data landscape, while being hands-on.
In this role, you will design our core data models and semantic layer, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to turn raw business requirements into sound technical architecture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that make our data consistent, understandable, and reusable across the organisation
Support the implementation of our data governance framework: data standards, data ownership, metadata management, and data quality principles
Design and develop the semantic layer that provides analysts and business users with a single, consistent view of our data and metrics
Support the analytics team in automating data flows and reporting, and in adopting best practices in data modelling
Collaborate closely with analysts, data engineers, risk management, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into sound data architecture
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience as a data architect, data modeller, or in a similar role
Strong expertise in data modelling techniques and experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake)
Experience designing and building semantic layers (e.g. dbt, Tableau semantic models or similar)
Good understanding of ML Ops/AI principles and the requirements for running machine learning solutions in production
Systems thinking and the ability to translate business language into technical architecture and back
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain architectural decisions to both technical and business audiences
Proficiency in Estonian language is preferred
