We think like a fintech, not your average bank. As we expand, our biggest challenge is making sure our API-enabled platform can scale to handle massive transaction volumes across new markets. As a Senior Product Engineer, you will own your services end-to-end, making the hard architectural choices needed to keep our systems fast and maintainable.
We don't do quick fixes here; you'll have the space and authority to tackle technical debt properly and solve real bottleneck and performance issues. Your work will directly build the backbone that makes our international growth possible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design and develop reliable, user-friendly solutions that make a real difference for our customers
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs align with technical capabilities
Take part in cross-functional initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve long-term scalability
Proactively identify and solve complex problems
Share your knowledge and help drive engineering excellence across the team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong skills in Java development and familiarity with frontend frameworks
Experience in building technical solutions for complex business logic
Experience in API design and/or service-oriented architecture
Solid competence in working with relational databases
Familiarity with AWS or similar environments
An AI-first mindset and curiosity to explore how AI can improve both your workflow and the products you build
Familiarity with product engineering methodologies
Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
Courage to take responsibility, show initiative, and give constructive feedback
Proficiency in Estonian language is a plus
Current residency in Estonia, as relocation assistance is not provided for this role
