We're building a bank the world actually needs – modern, sharp and genuinely human. We started in Estonia, growing through grit and high standards. Now we're taking on the UK and Europe. The next chapter is about doing the most ambitious work we've ever done, and changing how people experience money.
We run on three values: No Bullshit, Agile, and Never Satisfied. They're not wall art. They're how we make decisions, push each other and show up every day.
LHV is in the middle of something big. We're rebuilding how our products look, feel and work for hundreds of thousands of people across mobile and desktop. At the same time, we're changing how we design: using AI, working closer to code and moving from idea to shipped product faster.
As Lead Product Designer, you'll help shape that change. You'll set direction across several product areas, raise the standards the team works to, and help a group of strong senior designers do their best work. You'll stay hands-on, taking on the hardest, highest-stakes problems yourself.
You'll know when to move fast and when to step back and set a vision. You'll also know where AI can help, and where good design judgment needs to shape the result.
Lead design across multiple product areas, setting shared direction and making experiences coherent across mobile and desktop
Coach and develop senior designers through critique, feedback and your own example. Take part in hiring, too
Shape the design principles, standards and patterns the team builds on, accounting for accessibility and regulatory requirements
Define how the team uses AI and code in discovery, prototyping and delivery, and use these approaches in your own work
Tackle the most complex, high-stakes design problems hands-on
Drive discovery that connects customer needs with business outcomes, and help decide what's worth building
Partner with Product, Engineering and Data leads to shape the roadmap. Make the case for design direction to leadership using research and clear storytelling to explain your decisions
Experience leading design for complex, high-stakes products (for example payments, onboarding or other regulated flows) across multiple product areas, from problem framing to launch. You can show how your work changed the customer experience or business outcomes
A portfolio that shows your thinking from problem to outcome: how you explored options, what you chose and why, and how you used craft, systems thinking and sound judgment. We want to see more than polished screens
Experience coaching other designers and helping them grow
You use AI in your day-to-day work to explore, prototype in code and help get products shipped. You know where its output needs shaping and where your judgment should lead
A strong eye for design craft, and the ability to make functional experiences feel considered and intentional
Confidence working through ambiguity and the skill to bring people together around a shared direction
Current residency in Estonia, as relocation assistance is not provided for this role
Build something that lasts long after you've moved on
The tools, trust and autonomy to work the way great creatives work
Work with ambitious colleagues who value innovation and move fast
Enjoy the freedom to experiment and the ownership to build real impact
Grow professionally and personally through meaningful opportunities
Banking has been ugly, slow and impersonal for too long. We're fixing that with design that respects people's intelligence and technology that actually works for them.
If that sounds like the kind of problem worth working on, let's talk.
